Grand Sea Beach Resort ★★★

It was very picturesque, lovely pool and garden and right by the sea. The breakfast was very good and dinners were delicious. I recommend this resort.

I liked the cabins. The pools were very very nice. The resort has taken a hit because of Covid, which is a shame, because it’s a beautiful resort. View from the beach was magnificent, but the beach itself wasn’t very nice. It was a 5 minute walk to 7-eleven and a 15 minute walk to Thong Sala and the food marked and shops, which was pretty cool.

Sometimes it was a bit of a struggle to get some toilet paper.. If you wanted to eat at the restaurant at the resort, you had to book a time and table the night before. Breakfast was a pretty dull experience.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and spacious.

The breakfast was ok, but there was not so much choice for vegans..

the room and amenities were great, location close to port and busy area with shops and restaurants (resort restaurant was closed, probably lack of demand.)

the resort "beach" was only calf deep water with slimy seaweed and only visible at low tide. not fit for "beach fun". the pool was ok though. the breakfast was mediocre for a resort with this price

The owner is very helpfull. We were picked up at the Ferry for a small fee. She immediately arranged a Scooty and helped me sort through all the beaches and activities on the Island. Kayaks are available and there were Delicious vegetarian options at breakfast.

The location, sea, pool, restaurant and staff were all brilliant. I enjoyed my stay here and I am sure that I will stay here again next year. A motorbike was arranged for me as soon as I arrived and everything was carried out in an instant when requested. The manager was brilliant and an asset to the resort.

The TV channels are Thai only so take a tablet or Firestick.

Everything absolutely loved it. Reception was super helpful with transport, hiring bikes and cars, ferries.. she make it super easy. Can eat there also heart food at great prices all round a great experience

Few of the buildings a little run down but staff make up for it… super clean which is the main thing.

the view over the sea, the pool, the staff at breakfast one not bad, but little English and the cook who was fired during our 2nd week.

The bathroom was very basic, vent holes big enough for snakes, scorpions and other nasty critters to get in. the hand basin was not cleaned in 2 weeks, the drain trap was full so the water could not drain, the breakfast was the worst ever, very little choice. there was no bar, just a few drinks served from the kitchen that closed at 8pm. the reception manageress was most unhelpful and miserable NEVER AGAIN..

Good location (close to Thongsala and 7Eleven is around 7 minutes walk), 2 swimming pools (my kid loved them both!), cozy and quite. We have a bonus of 4 little kittens on our terrace :). Hammock and swing on the beach are very nice.

A shower was broken. Refrigerator in our bungalow was only working when keys are inside, which is not very convenient.

Nice breakfast, great views, great massage on site, friendly staff. Lovely walks along the beach right from our front door

Booking.com said payment would be at the hotel but the money was taken out of my account in advance

EVERYTHING! This place is a true gem, tucked away from the loudness of the island it’s right on the beach and hotel looks more like a palace. Best place we have stayed in our trip to Thailand. The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us rent a motorbike. The rooms are really clean and beautiful. Overall this place is 10/10 and would definitely stay again!

Good location to discover Koh Panghan. We rented a scooter and that went very well. With the full moon party we arranged a transfer by hotel and before leaving there was a possibility to neon paint yourself! You are close located to seven eleven and restaurants.

The house cat was sometimes annoying

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a beautiful honeymoon surprise, upgraded us to a sea view bungalow. Helped with scooter and ferry bookings and organised transfers to the pier and haad rin for us. Clean pool with gorgeous view. Also a great sea view from the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay!

There was nothing to ‘dislike’, really. Just be aware that the beach is not the best to swim and walk in this area of the island. You might also ‘meet’ a couple of dogs and cats which are strolling around the resort. The breakfast is the basic standard: sausage, egg, bread, juice. Shower facilities are generally nice, but were for us sometimes unstable on the hot water.

No connections to talk to staff in room,so basically no room service.Breakfast very basic not much to choose from.Interiors of room very old world type.space wise quite big room.

- I had an motorbike accident where I broke - I had an motorbike accident where I broke my arm so I had to go to the hospital immediately. Hotel’s shuffle drove us to the hospital, which was just 10 in drive from the hotel. We booked&payed 3 nights including breakfast but we’ve only stayed there the first night bcs of the accident (so we also had the breakfast just once!). After my boyfriend returned for our bags the second day, the receptionist charged him 300 bath for the drive to the hospital. They are trying to profit even from people’s accidents! We found the receptionist very rude and not friendly at all. - The first room that we got, had a whole bunch of holes, so the mosquitoes&other insects could go easily in. The second room was kinda better. - The door felt UNSAFE. Anyone could break easily in. my arm so I had to go to the hospital immediately. Hotel’s shuffle drove us to the hospital, which was just 10 in drive from the hotel. We booked&payed 3 nights including breakfast but we’ve only stayed there the first night bcs of the accident (so we also had the breakfast just once!). After the first egg, we asked the waitress to put them in the water for a few more minutes, she came back after 5 min with soft-cooked eggs again. - Rooms are outdated, some bedsheets were dirty.

Two huge pools, they play cool vibes music at the big pool, swim up bar, right on the beach, and the rooms were good size. The staff was super friendly too!
